Serving is the intentional act of giving your time, energy, skills, and heart for the good of others and for a mission greater than yourself. It is showing up with humility, consistency, and care because you believe in the people and the purpose. Serving is love in action, meeting needs, supporting growth, and advancing a shared vision.
Nathan Diaz was a member and deacon here. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2021, and through treatment, surgery, and re-diagnosis, he continued to serve the church and the body faithfully. His faith and consistency did not falter. On July 22, 2025, the Lord welcomed him home. We honor Nathan for who he was and for the way his life served as an encouragement to us all.
That heart for serving was the driving force behind Nathan’s life. In honor of his birthday, we will be honoring his life by serving in different capacities at the church building and for one another.
February 28 will kick off our church-wide serving week. We have a list of suggestions for you to use as a guide, but if you have any suggestions, feel free to let us know.
